The location of the mountain hut Hochzeiger Haus in the middle of the Pitztal Alps couldn’t be better for ski lovers. Just one step through the door and you’re on the slopes of the ski area. The ski cellar provides warm ski or snowboard boots.
The paths to winter happiness are short.
Enjoy your stay in our mountain hut with hotel comfort: ski in – ski out.
You simply save a lot of time on vacation. In the morning, it’s off to the slopes from your bed, so to speak. In between you come back to our Hochzeiger Haus and fortify yourself with the included afternoon snack. Our cozy sun terrace awaits you and spoils you with plenty of sunshine to relax.

Especially on a group vacation in Tyrol or a family vacation you will enjoy the absolute proximity to the ski area, because our house is the ideal meeting place: right in the middle, cozy, modern and yet casual. Here we serve Tyrolean-style food in our 3/4 board and in the restaurant. Gourmets will be amazed and round off the meal with a well-earned drink. And the children look forward to their favorite dishes. Ski school children who have mastered at least level “K4” can easily ski down from the Hochzeiger middle station for lunch at Hochzeiger Haus.

Especially in winter, the tiled stove in the Hochzeigerstube is a popular spot. The fire crackles, the atmosphere is convivial, the day unforgettable. Enjoy the view in the panoramic conservatory, put your feet up on the sun terrace and let yourself be pampered in the well-kept guest rooms. In the Hochzeiger Bar you can meet up with friends for a lively drink.
Our tip for sun worshippers: our sun deck with sun loungers and cozy lounges, even with service.

In the front Pitztal near Jerzens in Tyrol, ski tourers can expect a genuine, impressive nature experience without stress and hectic. Tourers love our Hochzeiger Haus, because you can combine fantastic ski tours with a great stop at our mountain inn. You can expect popular delicacies such as giant curry sausage, alpine burger, beef rump steak or the classic Kaiserschmarren.

Looking out of the window, it becomes clear that the Hochzeiger ski area, right on our doorstep, is set up for the perfect ski touring experience. The powder is powdery, the sun is shining and the atmosphere is fantastic.
Two designated piste tours directly from the hotel:
- The easy middle station route from Jerzens to the Hocheigerhaus is the perfect start.
- The Sechszeiger route with summit ascent to 2,335 m is the perfect tour for the next day with a 2 or 3 hour ascent.

The ski vacation becomes a real experience on the mountain, with guaranteed enough snow DIRECTLY on the doorstep for playing and snowball fights, afternoon snacks with soup, hut snacks, cakes… for refreshments in between and the opportunity to simply take a break in your own room.

Our house can be reached from skill level K4 (skiing on red slopes).
We recommend our two children’s hotels Sailer and Stefan in Wenns for ski vacations with younger children. Our special feature: As a guest of both children’s hotels, lunch is included at Hochzeiger Haus.
